Three useful outcomes

A clearer record of what came in, what went out, and what is unresolved.

Know what is owed

Keep invoices and payments together

See customer invoices, recorded payments, and balances without rebuilding the story from separate spreadsheets.

Know what was spent

Keep expenses and evidence close

Record bills and day-to-day expenses with the supplier and supporting detail ready for review.

Know what needs attention

Review imported bank activity

Import CSV statements, match activity on paid plans, and keep unresolved rows visible instead of guessing.

How it works

From first setup to records that are easier to review.

  1. 01

    Set up the business

Add the business details and contacts that give every record useful context.

  2. 02

    Record what happened

Create invoices, record expenses, and import bank activity from CSV when it helps.

  3. 03

    Review what needs attention

Check balances, unmatched activity, and review-ready records before you or your accountant rely on them.

Product proof

Attention is a first-class part of the record.

DII keeps the practical trail together: who an invoice belongs to, what an expense was for, where imported activity came from, and which items still need a human decision.

  • Review balances without implying the books are finished.
  • Keep imported CSV activity separate from connected banking, which is currently unavailable.
  • Prepare records for owner or accountant review, not automatic submission.

A clear boundary

DII organises records. It does not currently submit them.

Connected banking is currently unavailable. DII does not submit to HMRC or Companies House and does not provide VAT, Self Assessment, ITSA/MTD, CIS, payroll, PAYE, or RTI submissions.

Can I still work with bank activity?

Yes. Manual bank accounts and CSV imports are available. Matching and reconciliation are paid-plan workflows; a live bank connection is not required.

Is Accountant required for a solo business?

No. It is intended for businesses or advisers who need export packs, review notes, and a stronger handoff.
